i would also be super stoked. last time i saw them (in vegas) they played a 2 hour set with a 45 minute encore. loved every minute of it, it would kill me to see them play a 50 minute set. wilco closing outdoor? haha i can dream

Isn't it supposed to be their last tour? I finally saved enough money to get tickets and now the LA show is sold out. I see why it makes them less than likely, but does it completely rule them out? If it actually is their last tour, that would still draw well at Coachella despite the 6 shows...right? just looking for some hope here.

Then don't quote me on that, I don't want to start any rumors, I thought I had read somewhere that they wanted to focus on garnering more bands for their new label and this would be the last tour for a while...it's definitely possible I read too far into that. My bad.

I saw Wilco tonight in Palm Desert. Surprisingly the relatively small venue (1,127 seats) was not sold out. Tickets were $40-$50, a very modest price. Their show lasted a full 2 hours and was very tight and very good. One of my best concerts of 2012.
