i know this is a long shot but im willing to buy a pair of either dark side of the moon or the soft bulletin tickets for a little above face value. stupid me for not buying tickets when they went on sale...
It seems like the last 5 concerts i've been to, people have been talking about this show. It's definately gonna be one for the record books.
Flaming Lips were on a re-run of 90210 this morning.
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
Tickets on craigslist are absurd. its cheaper to buy the gummy skull. Anyone who buys from a scalper at this point needs there head examined...
Wow you weren't kidding. I hope someone on here buys/bought the gummy skull. I want picks of someone eating their way through it.
Looks like there are more tickets available on ticketfly.
I got my ticket 2 days ago.

Flaming Lips to Play Bell Tower with Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
Posted in World Wide Lips by PsychExFutureHeart on April 19, 2011
Last week, when The Flaming Lips “announced” (that is, tweeted a poster for) a set of shows at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on June 14-15, it was mysteriously refered to it as a “two nights, one morning” event. The two nights were self-explanatory: on one they’ll cover Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, and on the other they’ll play their own classic, The Soft Bulletin. But what was “the morning”?
Though we still don’t know exactly what will go down in the A.M. set, Wayne Coyne tweeted last night it will take place “in the belltower” (pictured left, by Curtis!)…
What’s this about a bell tower??
“The Stars of Hollywood Forever” website explains a ”Spanish-influenced structure from the early thirties, a nearby three-story tower, today houses the Eliza Otis chimes… The chimes, commissioned in her memory, are a twenty-thousand-pound set of twelve cast-bronze bells, each inscribed with one of her verses. They hung in the bell tower of the cemetery’s chapel from 1905 to 1925, when the chapel’s beams bowed.”
Apparently The Flaming Lips will play the Eliza Otis chimes…
… with the help of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros!

Some single day tickets just released.
I have two extra tickets for the dark side of the moon date. Send me a pm if interested.
Does anyone know about the parking? When we bought tickets they said information regarding parking would be released later...
Parking still isnt onsale btw... And do you really need to pay for their parking?
If i recall correctly TheWatcher is older and has leg/knee issues? I had to walk quite a bit last time i parked off site.
It went onsale the week or so before explosions in the sky there. Best bet would be to follow hollywood forever on Facebook or twitter to find out first.
They sent out emails for explosions as well
Tweeted FL and HF but got no response.
I'm assuming you'll either need to have tickets to both nights, or there will be a separate ticket for the a.m. portion. Would be awesome if they let in anyone with a ticket from either show but I doubt that's the case...
Maybe they're not even requiring tickets since it's during normal cemetery visiting hours on a weekday, and only one song? Not possible or worth the trip for enough people to even bother? Seems like interest in this event is a bit too high for that to be the case.
