Anybody catch this on NBC last night? I'm watching it at work right now and must say I actually like it. I enjoy having the 4 judges pick 8 people for them to work with throughout the season and try to win this. I love seeing the contestants have to choose which judge they want to work with if more than one judge picks them. This show has tons of potential and is a nice change from American Idol since it focuses on people's voice.

Watching the beginning on Hulu. Is this a comedy? I feel like The Onion is pulling some strings behind the scenes here.

33 minutes in and the show won me over with this folk duo...married couple that lives in the chix parents basement making the show....should be nice to see their progress

I caught the repeat of the first show on E over the weekend, it sucked me in, so I had to bump some of my other lame tv in order to DVR this one. I watch too much reality tv. ugh

I've been watching it. Seems like more than half of the contestants don't need to have someone just judge them on their voice alone. Most of them are good looking. I expected a lot more of this:

So far I've enjoyed it, and truth be told I think Adam's team is pretty stacked. I like all the voices in his bunch except his last female pick from last night. But when they have to pick off their own team members in the battle round and decide who leaves it will be even more interesting.

True but they have turned away some attractive people who probably would have made it on American Idol -- for example, that Indian girl who was OK but not outstanding.
