I feel like Joni Mitchell and Portishead'll will be given a PJ Harvey spot if they do consider. (Does Joni still tour?) But I agree with YYYs after another album, but Sade seems more arena/theater-appropriate than a festival setting. Also, Kylie would be great at the Sahara! And as for Beyonce and Gaga, I'd pick Ms. Knowles any day.

Joni "retired" from music last year. A one-off or something might generate enough buzz for her to be the headliner, though I feel like I'm stretching it.

Then what would they be billed? You don't have to like every headliner. They've already booked Jack Johnson, The Killers, Muse, Kings of Leon and Kanye West. No Doubt is on their level. Plus they are working on a new album.
