Too Many Lights in the Sahara (2011)

I feel like I enjoyed the Sahara tent much more before the age of LED screens. 2009 was the shit with all those lasers, 2010, just ok, and 2011 gave me a headache. There was so much going on it was hard to handle, does anyone agree with me or am I just boring?

The most etarded thing I saw in the Sahara was a bunch of floortards sitting on the ground near the front, with the giant video walls raging away, and they were facing away from it & totally transfixed by a kid waving around an LED glove.

moar lazers. wtf there were NONE this year. that was one of the best things about last year in the sahara. i mean i love what they did with the LEDs in the front of the stage but after a while the overhead lights just kinda got old. it was cool seeing it from outside the tent though

The tent looked spectacular as you were walking up to it. I loved being able to see the crowd jumping and the lights going off before hearing the music. Idk why I thought this was so cool but it was.

The hanging LEDs were only for the people in the back half of the tent anyway, and even then u would have to look up to enjoy them, cool concept but add lasers to it and sahara tent lighting = epic win

The hanging LED panels were useless if you were up front in the action and the LED walls on stage made the Sahara seem like a generic EDC or Ultra stage. Bring back the lazers and palm trees please. In fact, next year instead of hanging LED panels, I want to see a canopy of fucking lazers. Lazers spaced out every 5 feet along the edge of the tent, pointing towards the middle of the soundbooth.
