Ummm, maybe because everyone smart enough was running to grab a good spot for Daft Punk.

Not that I'm a huge Depeche Mode fan or anything, but there set wasn't all that bad.

Rage Against The Machine is enough to get 400 bucks from me.
Red Hot Chilli Peppers too (frusciante alone is enough).

But they are not alone there... you have 20-30 great artist more (not so great). I dont know how much americans pays for this kind of shows regularly, but it's seems like a fair price.

I was one of those people...I think the crowd in the back was booing me and my group...but, I was the last to laugh when i was RIGHT IN FRONT for DAFT PUNK...needless to say, I don't know if any (save Underworld or Portishead) would top that performance EVER.
