What's a letter going to do? The problem isn't that GV doesn't know that people want The Knife to play. It's not that The Knife isn't aware that a big chunk of the Coachella audience would want to see them. They're, in fact, one of the most clamored-for acts that has yet to play Coachella; Pitchfork tracks their every move; ONE HALF of them has played Coachella to a packed house.

It just hasn't worked out yet for one of the reasons these things don't work out: money wasn't right, schedule wasn't right, nothing to promote, etc etc.

Save your letter-writing for the one you send to your parents apologizing for disappointing them so much.
