TOUGH CALL, two of my all-time favorite hip hop artists... have to go with Dre though, would have killed to see him back in the day. Wouldn't complain one bit if GV ends up snagging Outkast though

Outkast hands down. Dre live is whatever, Dre was never that good a rapper. I'd love to see Dre do a DJ set though.

Perhaps Dre and Phil Spector can co-headline.

Dr. Dre would be fucking sick and epic, Outkast would be as well. I choose Outkast because it fits coachella more.

Kicking myself for not choosing Dr.dre though.

    Good Poll

Over the past ten years Outkast has proven to sound timeless while Dre continues to sound more and more dated.

Comes down to preference. I listen to more Dre than Outkast, and feel that neither sound dated. I would much rather see Outkast at Coachella, but if Dre tours I feel that it would be something pretty epic, with a plethora of all-star guest appearances. Maybe the dated sound could also be described as nostalgic?

That's exactly what it is, west coast late 90's early 00's nostalgia.

What's the new song, "Kush"? It sounds like a 2001 leftover. His beat on the compaq commercial was much fresher.

Im on the fence about Kush as well. Actually that song has finally brought me around to accept the fact that Akon is going to replace Nate Dogg as the guy that sings the hook on alot of rappers songs. I smoke copious amouts of medication so I like the song. If it weren't for that I don't think I would like it as much.

And I don't even want to talk about that "Airplanes" "Love the Way You Lie" " I Need a Doctor" song.

That's not his beat, but it's cookie cutter pop garbage. I guess he ran out of funk to sample.

Agree 100%, I dont know why he gave that song the boot. He shoulda made that into a single

I think when his son died it really threw a wrench in his spokes. Dre ain't been the same, and we have been hearing about this album since before that happened.

Yeah, that's really unfortunate about his son. How can you really get on his case after going through that? He's in a lose-lose situation, I don't think he's ever particularly liked the perfoming aspect of being a musician, much like 3 Stacks. And there's just no way this album will be as good as 2001 one was (most popular rap album ever?), it's been too long and expectations are way too high.

He's done beats here and there for other arists over the years, there all solid. Despite calling his sound dated, I still think it's classic. I really wish he would've done more than one track and Em's latest release (garbage).

Outkast. Especially with a full band/horns section/backup singers...I would love to end my night with that funk.

I also think Coachella's crowd would react better to Outkast singles rather than Dre's hits. Outkast is more of an entertaining performance.
