2nd page? unacceptable.
I've been on vacation.
Underworld is due to play movement this month. Looking forward to that setlist in a big way.

BUMP
so a little while back RCRD Deals had a special on a 3 disc Barking Box Set that went a lil something like this -
anybody know if these tracks on disc 3 are available anywhere else....???This week’s RCRD Deal comes courtesy of electronic music legends Underworld. Always a group with flawless design aesthetics and stunning visuals, we’re offering a beautiful limited-edition box set of the group’s 2010 record Barking. Usually retailing for $50, we’re providing a one-time offer of the entire set, featuring three full discs of content and original artwork, for only $30. The set includes:
Disc One: The nine-track Barking album
Disc Two: A DVD featuring 11 music videos, two of which are exclusive to this package
Disc Three: Nine alternative versions of Barking album tracks, 12 Page Full Color Premium Booklet
The box set measures 10’’ x 10’’ x 5’’ and was designed by Tomato — Underworld’s design firm.
Coachella 07 (the introduction), 08 (the bands), 09 (the documentary), 10 (the people i came with), 11 (the relationship test... we passed), 12 (whatever the weather, Dirty Epic forever), 13 (taking the good with the bad)
- PEARL JAM WHY YOU HATE COACHELLA? -
I have them. They were on an import release of Barking IIRC. Not much to get hopped up about, IMO.
They are available just about everywhere on the net for purchase digitally and there are at least 20 versions available for physical purchase. All of these can be bought via Japan or underworld live.com. The different versions have different items. One came with an iPhone case. One a sticker pack...one a book of poetry.

Just a few months from seeing underworld somewhere on the poster...
fun fact:
On 8 August 2008, Underworld appeared at the All Points West Music & Arts Festival festival in Liberty State Park, New Jersey. Radiohead dedicated their final song "Everything in its Right Place" to Underworld with a special remix.

I feel sorry for you if your first time seeing Underworld was a shortened daytime set surrounded by a bunch of stone-statue Radiohead fans. That, my friend, is not proper exposure for these guys.
Hopefully you (and the rest of us) will get a real Underworld gig next April.
It's already jinxed. This is not happening.
you've been saying that since the get-go, so there was never really a chance to jinx it. Our job now is to channel our positive Underworld vibes and send um Karl and Rick's way.

Considering the guy who does the booking for the Sahara tent thinks he doesn't need to read the board, I wouldn't hold out much hope.
it's kind of inconsequential where they play if they were to play...
It would be all of us, up there... just fucking losing it.

Hard booked UW in 2009 and in 2010...

Hope springs eternal!
I'm cautiously optimistic about a UW appearance.
For fans of clownish dance music, it must be nice knowing that the lineup is sure to include masses of it. No need to make requests and gin up support on the board, no need to fret; there will be garbage aplenty.
Yea... this thread to me is just a totem of wistful desire.
I won't be surprised if they don't appear on the lineup.
It is fun, however, firing up the brotronica fans. I'm quite surprise by the ferocity with which they defend the music. Gotta love the message board.

tick tock...
Underworld on Sunday night to close the Sahara would be ideal
Please not a Sunday night. My feet are screaming murder by then. Fri or Sat, IMO.

You know what would be super cool?
If Sub Focus played as well.
They've got new music.
They've been doing Everybody Jack lately, wonder if any new tracks will pop up this weekend...
