Yea, I had some reservations, but I figure I'll be able to sell/transfer it closer to the festival time if I decide not to go (and I believe I will be going).

I'm listening to Dive, like I always do, and it always brings me back to sitting in that chair watching Mountains, Simon Scott, and Tycho, and I think I can honestly say that was one of the most beautiful "shows" I have ever been to. I wish I could of spent the entire set just weeping, for the sake of it. It made my entire trip there worthwhile, and I hope this year I'll be able to at least make a showcase or two again because, even though I barely know you folks, I love you all. This website means too much to me, but you folks, have brought me some true happiness over the past 3 and half years.

Decibel 2012, I hope I can make it to you.

Moving up to Washington in September. Needless to say I will be ALL over this festival. Finally. I have wanted to go for years.

<3 you too Sleepingrock. Really wish I could have been at that showcase.

Holy crap you are? I know we haven't met but we have common tastes and will be at ********* together. Where are you moving to?

Forgive me if we've discussed this previously, my memory is degrading rapidly at my old age.

edit: And yes, I am so excited for dB this year! Looking forward to seeing everyone again... it was such a fun time and a big reason I am happy to have relocated to the area.

WOW. Were first tier tickets $100 or $125? I can't remember but what a nice savings! Tier 2 is on sale:

They were $125... I was thinking the same thing, glad I bought mine in December. I'm 99% sure I'm going; if for some reason it doesn't work out, should be really easy to get rid of a ticket at that price.

If the $180 are 25% off door, does that mean the festival wristbands are really going to be $240? That's a pretty substantial price hike, isn't it?

I bought a ticket just in case I'm still in Seattle then. Then I learned tickets are paperless and you show ID to get your wristband on Wed. Whoops. Might have donated $180 to dB just now. Heh.

It was that way last year, but IIRC, there was a way to get the ticket transferred? Not sure... it seems like there are reasonable people behind the ticketing that would be willing to help.

    dont worry about that, Jeff

Exciting times ahead. I'm going to be getting some newbz out this year again.

Think about what needs to happen with lodging considering that I've crashed at Jeff's the past few years. Probably going to assemble a super team.

I hope this year's lineup is half as good as dimensions...

    Croatia is tittays.

From that lineup dB has previously booked Cassy, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Scuba, Pearson Sound, Kyle Hall, Gold Panda, and Joy Orbison. Guys like Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann are likely out of the question price-wise, but the festival is getting bigger every year so who knows.

    dB always delivers.

That lineup is going to get even better judging by their fb post the other day: Massive Line-up announcement later this week. . . . . . . the best festival line up we could imagine. so good.

Also, I'm getting tired of festivals making announcements regarding upcoming announcements.

No, that's cool. They have actual updates like tickets being on sale and give additional info. It's the stay tuned next week for an announcement but we have nothing to announce now that I can't stand (Sonar is really bad).

I really hope Squarepusher is booked this year. I think he'd fill Amon Tobin's Paramount slot nicely.

I've got a pass for sale at the 25% discount $180 level. No dB for me this year.

(I'll also repost this later, and I know you can still buy through their ticketing outlet for the same price, but help a guy out. Yes? Yes.)

***Hey, check that out. Passes are up to $195. That's, like, a $15 savings! Deals Deals Deals BUY BUY BUY

Damn it feels good to be a gangster. So glad I grabbed pre-sale pass for super cheap. I wonder how many friends will end up committing to the festival.
