Are these passes the kind that sell out in minutes? Or will I have a few hours to get one? I think I'm going to go!

also- i was delighted with the plethora of cabs and public transportation options.
Honestly... we took the bus twice for Optical shows (Nordstrom Music Hall) and walked to and from most of the sets. Oh and then there was the Dinky show and that frisky ride home at 6am. Wooz, that chick is gonna visit me in Colorado this summer. major lulzer

I purchased mine in July or August last year. On that note- dB 2010 was wildly successful and they've grown exponentially since then. If everyone who attended 2010 does like me and gets 5 new friends to come, this thing will sell out far far before it did last year.

It's settled, I'm getting 2 passes at noon. I take it they'll be $157 after fees and what not? Just going by the info from last year that's still on the site.

good lord, wooz.
Rhythm is a dancer.
Got the 5 and 7 mixed up...
Cool. It seems most of the showcases are 16&18+ this year according to some Facebook post I saw earlier.
I'm really curious as to who they have planned to fill up those venues.
They filled the Nordstrom with ambient electronic musicians... this festival attracts a different crowd

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Donde...

Acts like Leftfield and Aphex Twin would fit the innovative/progressive vibe but I just can't bring myself to believe they're possibilities. Modeseletor/Flylo/Carl Criag to Leftfield is a massive leap. I think the bigger venues will garner more slightly bigger names but ultimately it's the promoters taking a gamble on electronic music's growing popularity. But these are all mildly educated guesses at best.
Tickets are up! $130
I'm in. So the passes are mailed to us right? I got an attachment along with my order that says tickets. What are those for?

wow today was an electronic music dream- dB tix-plurchased, Carl Craig and Recloose in a 60 person venue- plurchased, Richie and the minus crew going nuts in Japan- ROCKING OUT RIGHT NOW!
Rhythm is a dancer.
Boom. I'm locked in.
$130 pre = $186 full price. What, oh what, have they got planned with that extra scratch!?
** And leaving this Hawtin stream to go to class is brutal :-/
Ticket bought! I think I might of accidentally charged it to my mom's account instead of my paypal bank transfer.
And if anyone is looking for someone to split a hotel with I'm looking for accommodation but we'll see when it gets closer!

So Plastikman at Electric Zoo, could it mean something for dB?
Wooz and I were discussing that. I mean the Plastikman concept is perfect for dB.
And then a Minus showcase... Oh me oh my.
Rhythm is a dancer.
I didn't even think of the Minus showcase... could be intense.
Nice. Going to be tons of fun.
Re: Hawtin & Co. If we pull anyone from Minus, Cocoon, Bpitch Control, Kompakt, etc. I'll be happy. A label showcase would be a dream.
Throw Hyperdub in there and it's a wrap.
In a conversation on their Facebook page dB said the final tier pass is going to be $200 in August. Food for thought.
Wow. The final tier pass was $157 last year right?
They've gotta have SOMETHING big planned...
