I wish someone with taste had started this thread.
Roxy Music - Country Life
Not only are these albums not "perfect", not only are they not even very good, they are downright bad. They all suck. Every single one of them are dreadful bits of guana sludge. You have terrible taste.
Many of the other records you list are not quite that bad, but aren't really very good either.
I know you weren't claiming your list was all-encompassing, but the fact that you omit even one album from entire eras or genres leads me to believe you haven't listened to very much music.
Hating on Mezzanine? Really?
.
I don't think Tom likes chick singers.
But anyone who doesn't acknowledge Zeppelin II as their best (and as near perfect as any) deserves ridicule.

And the Doors' self-titled debut? GTFO already, seriously.

I actually have. I have over 11,000 songs on my iPod (about 90% I listen to on a regular basis), most of which I didn't name here, because the list would be too long. I don't like country, most of what got crapped out of the 80's, and most rap. I like most everything else.
All right, Tom, if my taste in music is so offensively bad, what albums would make your list?
Please don't agree with me, it weakens my outrage.
.
Rush's Moving Pictures and Led Zep III (obviously not their best work but awesome none the less) are no slouches either.
The Mountain Goats - All Hail West Texas

Itunes is not the entirety of the history of music. Please fade into the background. You're terrible at listening and knowing.
Yes.
