Why is this shit so expensive. Lineup is mehh. Location is mehh. Nothing about yells $75. $50 was even a stretch.

Hmm...now that tickets are $75 i think there would have to be 1 or 2 more significant adds to get people to pay for this. Especially to get those that were on the fence about it before...forking up an extra $25 for Calvin Harris isnt reasonable.

With that being said, this fest keeps looking better and better. The one thing im worried about is the 4 stages deal because it just increases conflict possibilities.

I paid 50. That was worth it. This is definitely not a 75 dollar lineup.

not yet... now that the first wave of tickets has sold out i think we're going to start seeing the 'new artists each week' pitch.... itll work its way up to $75. But the $95 at the door, that's what im worried about....

edit: and Calvin wasnt the only add. It would appear there are an additional 10 names on the lineup now.

I know the guys in Steffi Graff, they played at Snowball Fest in Vail this past year and killed it with a live percussion breakdown during their set. They're fun to watch. I'm also suspicious of how many more big names they will add. The flyer says "over 30 acts", but as a poster above me pointed out, they added a ton of small undercard names along with Calvin Harris, which makes me wonder how many more adds there will actually be.

Ghostland would be an awesome add! I am stoked for this as it stands now with Cut Copy, Phantogram, THE TWELVES (YES) and now Calvin Harris. It's well worth wading thru the bro-fest at 50 bucks. I do agree it is questionable at 75+.

Confirmed, i got a flyer after the Ghostland show at the Glass House and it shows Ghostland on the 3rd line down, just below Steve Aoki and Calvin Harris. If those are the 4 biggest names (GLO/Cut Copy/Calvin/Aoki) then i think they aren't gonna sell too many more tickets at $75...

ok so P Fest is still claiming new artists each week, but the original prmotional push stated 'over 30 acts'

so now w/ 33 how many more could they really add before Aug., and who else seems to fit the bill.....? Ghostland turned out to be a much smaller (on the bill) and quicker add than even i anticipated, and loving what ive heard of Bag Raiders.

and ive heard that if this fest continues to grow it may become the main focus for the future events at the Great Park in Irvine.....? Dont know if thats true or not but an interesting idea none the less.
