Okay, so it's actually a year in advance of the actual show, not the announcement, but this is a more succinct title for the thread. Basically, the idea is that everybody throws in their best guess as of right now, after Coachella just ended, before we have any confirmations or even any real concrete leads about what 2012 will look like. Then, in January we can come back and look at this thread and see who has prophetic powers, and who was hilariously wrong.

I would feel so absurdly jipped if I went to a year that only had one new headliner. Not even sure if Daft Punk counts seeing that most of the people probably thought of them as a headliner last time they were there.

I did see that, and I'll eat my words, but it probably won't happen again, and I think we could all agree that the only reason it did happen is that The Strokes probably whined and refused to play if they were billed subheadliner. They actually played 5 minutes less than any of the subheadliner acts, and given that I could name at least 5 songs they could have added to their set, it wasn't due to a lack of material. For all intents and purposes, they were opening for Kanye West, not sharing a headlining bill. Also, you have 18 posts, you don't get to say fail.
