struggles
KOL and MGMT need be replaced by Fleet Foxes and Joanna Newsom. Or Girls and The Avalanches. Or ANYTHING, those two should not be there.
Get Rich or Die Trying..... someone had to say it
Edit: scratch that, Power of the Dollar came first
I agree, up until the 5th track, then it became boring garbage.
dam, i knew all u arcade fire-loving hipsterse would pick them..oh well
wow. i'm surprised LCD is so far behind. that's my favorite out of these choices.
1. Arcade FIre - Funeral
2. Wolf Parade - AttQM
3. Interpol - TotBL
4. The Strokes - Is This It

What, no love for Coldplay's Parachutes?
Deloused, best album of the 00s, period.
MGMT's Oracular Spectacular was not a bad album. Doesn't compare at all to Arcade Fire or The Strokes, but it isn't bad.
LCD's music holds a special place in my heart above all the bands in this lineup, but Is This It is just a perfect rock album to me, and Funeral provides such an incredible emotional connection; it's hard for me to choose between those two.
No love for the Libertines or Arctic Monkeys? Hard to beat the fun factor on those two albums.
Funny that all of these choices are albums from the very first part of the decade (besides MGMT?) and by bands that have had at least a few follow up releases.
Personally I think The XX should have been included in the discussion, but perhaps they haven't been around long enough for their first album to become revered.
I also realize some people that album to be boring crap, so there's that too.
no love for the dead weather either...
My girlfriend looks a little bit like Charlize Theron... and a lot like Dog the Bounty Hunter.
out of that list i would go for interpol or the strokes
lost souls by doves and baby im bored by evan dando deserve to be on the list over the libertines
No Kanye either
and not one hip-hop album was considered that day.
De-Loused wins either way

All staples of my High School days therefore they win out
I would never want to belong to any club that would have someone like me for a member...
Not good choices. I picked Mars Volta, for god's sake.
