Chase + Status was secretly the best set all weekend

Did anyone else watch this mindfuck of a set? They pushed the Sahara's sound system and lighting rig to the limits, used a live drummer and (at times) guitarist, and made all their best tracks sound insane. They weren't seen by many, but everyone I ran into that did felt it was up there with the best of the weekend. It was definitely my favorite set.

This was my favorite surprise. EVERYONE that left duck and came back for Bloody Beetroots should be kicking theirselves in the ass. I literally have never listened to Chase + Status until seeing them live and they were easily my favorite Sahara act of the weekend.

awesome set, but where was Plan B for Pieces? and I was really looking forward to hearing him sing End Credits too but they didn't even play it (unless they did an encore, I left after they started their last song Fool Yourself). otherwise it was a nice dose of drum n bass for the Sahara... and holy shit, the bass during Eastern Jam was heavenly. I even got to meet Skream and Niall from Jack Beats in the crowd, both nice guys.

AMEN! I was also glad that all the midday dome brochella douchebags that were at High Contrast (and Duck Sauce trendy folks) didn't have a clue to stick around for this. I was so glad to finally be in like company to see some true DnB. I was definitely digging the Dub drops too. Add live instruments & a vocalist and I was in heaven. LOVE!!

Best set of the weekend by far. I lost it when they played pieces. I've been djing for 12 years and that's still my favorite all time track. Hearing it live made everything else at coachella pointless. The entire weekend could have been a fail and they still would have made it a great coachella.

First off, dont hate on the moshers. I am at Johns Hopkins U and I do work all the fucking time. I want to get rowdy and burn off some stress sometimes, and Chase and fucking Status is a perfect place to do such a thing. The Sahara is huge, just step back. Second, holy god yes what a set! They played all of their good songs and thrashed my brain into oblivion. Hearing Eastern Jam, No Problem, Flashing Lights, Smash TV, Pieces...the list goes on. Thank you Coachella for getting them to the fields!

Chase & Status were one of my must sees and it broke my heart to miss the strokes for them but after that set I have no doubt that I made the right choice.

All the people who left after Duck Sauce missed one of the best sets of the weekend. Only Cut Copy edged it in my opinion.

Great atmosphere and I thought the pits were fun as the attitude of the people taking part was good.

Their set was seriously one for the history books they were the act that was genuinely my number one must see and they destroyed it!!! Almost shed a tear when they announced their last song their set was WAY too short!

I knew it was gonna be fun, but I would say this act was the biggest surprise at the weekend. I was expecting a fun set, instead I got one of the coolest Sahara acts I have ever been too. It wasnt just for hard dnb fans it was for everyone. Every fucking sound they put into their show was mixed to perfection. Holy shit this was a great fucking set.

No appearance by Plan B was kind of a bummer, but whatever Shit was still poppin

This set was epic. Everybody complaining about the moshers need to stfu. Its dnb and if you didnt like it you coulda gone to the back. Def the best set of the weekend. Can't wait to see them this weekend in LA.

Came after Lightning Bolt as well and was surprised at how empty the back of the Sahara was, which made me enjoy it even more for the time we were there

I missed them because I was front row for Ratatat, but I'm not that bummed about missing them as I will be seeing them this Saturday at the Music Box in Hollywood.
