Could you remove your wristband without damaging it (much)?

I just pulled at it like I was trying to loosen it and it came off.

I believe Pete got his off by prying the lime green snap apart with a small screwdriver. Or, at least loosening it enough to release the cloth strap part. Mine is still on because it's the most expensive jewelry I own right now...-

I was able to remove mine without damaging it or cutting it at all, but its mainly because I am double jointed and can easily slip it over my hand. Everyone else I know just cut it.

used plyers to pry the clip apart and then pull out the round thing. going to make bracelet out of the cloth part.

i used two butterknives to wedge the clasp apart. worked pretty well

I just used a tiny screw driver to pry everything out and it worked out well. I just tied it in a knot as a bracelet

I used a penny to pry it open then pulled out the pin. My daughter's wristband stretched out enough so she just slipped it off!

I just slipped mine off. honestly i think i lost enough weight between thursday and monday that it was possible.

Sold my wristband last day for 150 bucks and all they did was cut it with scissors and sew it back together

I accidently put it on way too loose, the two fingers I used were fucking bananas basically. Had to tie it tighter with a rubber band, only one guard questioned me about it for only ten seconds, I could have been switching it without any problems, obviously didn't intend to do something like that however.

I opened the snap up and then pulled the pin out. Simple as that. Now I can take it off and put it back on whenever I want.

I was able to pull on mine until it tore a little, and it was just enough to slip it off.

Popped open the clasp and managed to slide it off; probably could've managed without the declasping since I didn't even need to take off the pin. Not really sure what I'll do with it, but was glad not to have to cut it since I didn't have scissors with me.

If you want to slide it off and are having some trouble, try putting sprinkling your hand with baby powder.

I undid mine and a friends on Thursday because we had issues with how it went on atfirst. It was super easy, the metal ring in the neon clasp: get a tiny flathead screwdriver and wiggle it in the little slits of the metal ring to spread them a bit and the pin slides right out - it can be reused forever

I was able to just open mine up with no problem. There's bound to be some defective clasp when you are making so many, so I'm sure I was a rare case.

I wonder if Goldevoice is going to read this thread and prepare its 2012 bracelets differently. I am glad they're fabric instead of plastic, as they look & feel so much nicer than those crappy plastic ones. Anyways, after festivals I usually manipulate my bracelets to make them adjustable so I can wear them to other fests I attend as a badge of pride & conversation starters.

They were a bitch to put on, but easy to take off! I didn't put it on loose or anything, but it was easy to wiggle out of it.

By the way, next time maybe use softer cloth? By the last day I started getting a rash on my wrist from the irritation. I didn't have any problem with the plastic last year though.

I'm still wearing mine as is. Eventually I'll have to take it off because of military uniform regulations, but I will keep it on (just like Orbaddict said) as a badge of pride, until some higher up finally makes a fuzz-big-enough about it.

I wore last year's into the third week of May. The looks some people would give me, walking around in my camouflage, with my Coachella wristband. Priceless.

And yes, great conversation starter. One person showed up today to do some LAN work at my office, saw my wristband and said he had been to '03, and '04 doing camera/comms work there. And we're in Rhode Island. It was cool.

All we did was unsnap them and super glue the yellow part back together...

My girlfriends sister didnt want to go Sat or Sun so we gave it to our 2 friends those days and it was simple as that.

penny idea worked like a charm, open it up and slide the penny under the yellow circle and it should come right out!
