Seconded! And then Ratatat and Leftfield right afterwards on the same stage? Trentemøller really knew how to build that set as well, as a guy I met just before Leftfield wisely noted. Ratatat was great and Leftfield were epic, but Trentemøller was one of the most amazing surprises for me.

For the worst Coachella I've been to (and this was my tenth), that set reminded me why you just suck it up and go.

I got there 10 minutes before there set was supposed to start and found the Mojave emptier than it's ever been.It filled up pretty well when it started. I was up front dancing like i was rolling with a Yoda backpack on.

He's playing live tonight in Chicago @ The Mid.
Don't know if it's just a DJ set or a full band performance.

Love the taped set. Great quality, I will just pretend it was his sxsw show. For anyone going to any of his final US shows, drag as many people there as possible. Also, he does change up the tracks considerably between the shows.
I go to shows and festivals.

i think the band and the crowd were very much on the same level for a majority of that set. everybody was just going bonkers over what was happening. it was really special

Does he do DJ sets? In any case, I'd rather see the live band again. It's just not gonna happen next year.

this set encompassed everything that is special about coachella to me. i had my friends there, a crowd that was going nuts, an artist that was feeding off that energy, the sunset in the back drop and generally this feeling from start to finish on complete and intense focus.

and when it was done it felt complete but nevertheless left the crowd yearning for more. there was not even a flash of a thought about which set was next or what else was happening. completely present in the moment. twas one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had at this festival.

thanks to you crazies for getting the eff down and now a HUGE thanks for this wonderful recording of the set that's currently inspiring me to write all this sappy crap.
