He/They were fucking awesome, best set of the weekend for me.
If we're lucky something will happen. Some adversity will happen and something unexpected will happen and you'll get tired and you'll get hungry, you'll have trouble going to the bathroom, and you'll lose your car keys, and all these wonderful things will add up to some powerful experience that 10 years from now we'll say "We lived, we lived." - Wayne Coyne on Coachella

definitely top 5 for me this weekend. the balance of mellow ambiance and driving rhythms was just what i needed.

his was the only performance that came close to making me feel the way i felt at fever ray last year. and the screens showing the sunset behind the ferris wheel during the set? done.

I believe the real sight was what Anders was doing on his setup. It is such a weird mix of instruments, but he uses it all to create that amazing, driving and incredibly deep and layered music.

Great set to see while the sun went down, I think he was the one that brought all that wind to Coachella afterwards.

Couldn't agree more!!! This set was legendary, i'm still speechless after witnessing it. Absolutely LOVED the crowd (maybe the best of the weekend along with cut copy), the energy was immense and it was an all-out dance party. THANK YOU TRENTEMOLLER!!!!!!! Hot damn that shit was FIRE!!!!

Undeniably the best set of the weekend for me. My first Coachella too.

It was like the wind was a part of his set at times, and that harmonica was the one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.

I managed to watch about 5 songs before Duck Sauce and they were all phenomenal. Definitely one of the highest level electronic music performances of the weekend for sure. I think maybe I would have preferred to see him in an intimate, headline setting, though. There's just so much else going on in the festival at the same time that it can be hard to give a performance of that quality the attention and appreciation it deserves.

    Does anyone remember the setlist?

I know they opened with The Mash and the Fury.

    Other songs I remember hearing:

    Moan
    Silver Surfer Ghost Rider Go
    Take Me Into Your Skin

I think I heard Sycamore Feeling but I can't remember too well.

I just went though all of the sets I saw and I'm going to say that Trentemøller was definitively the best one, in my opinion. The exaltation after and during every song was not matched at any other sets I witnessed. I saw Ratatat afterwards and the greatest cheer from one of their songs did not even come close to matching the smallest cheer at the end of one of the songs during the Trentemøller set. The Ratatat crowd looked bigger too...

    As best as i remember:
    • Miss You
    • Take Me Into Your Skin
    • Moan
    • Sycamore Feeling
    • Silver Surfer Ghost Rider Go
    • and he ended with The Beat from the Royskopp - What Else is There remix. no vocals

I'm not sure about the middle part.

    EDIT: Vamp was in there.

I only knew 2 tracks and wasn't sure what to expect, so I was just following the hype when I chose to see them. I loved every damn second, it was just magic. More than 1 person stopped me to ask who the band was. I guess I looked like I know what's going on.
    A+
