Advil/Motrin is allowed in right?

Perhaps a silly question, but you can bring Advil, Motrin etc into the festival right? My gf tends to get headaches and wants to be prepared...this shouldn't be a problem right?

dude. yeah. check the FAQ section. you can bring actual medicines... like Rx stuff with a perscription/doctor note... like narcotic meds. you really think they care about motrin?

I'm actually pretty sure they sell that stuff at the convenient store in the campground. I know I bought allergy meds off them last time.

We brought this in twice before and had no issues..This year I bought new aspirin, ibuprofen, allergy meds and 5HTP, but I left everything in it's unopened package..though I'm positive I don't NEED to do this, I was just lazy..heheh

I took in some Glutenaid for my gluten intolerance. I put it in a small pill box and shoved it in my bra. Unidentified meds will more than likely be confiscated if found.
Motrin and Advil are easily recognizable though.

they made us throw away our unopened bottle of excedrin this year. said you cant have any thing thats over the counter..so yeah, scope out your lines before you get up there, not every security person will care.

If you're a gal you don't really get a choice on the line. They only had 3 lines for us on Sunday for the shuttle security check. I got in just fine with my travel sized Advil, but they did open it and check every single day. Don't hide anything under the boobs...they will check!

i always sneak in advil just in case of the surprise headache which i get at some random point over the weekend. i dont even try going the legit route because like the others said its a total crapshoot depending on the person searching you. im sure they have some for purchase inside but its likely overpriced and who wants to walk to tent X when your head is pounding

I had a large ziplock bag filled with tissues, sunscreen, antibacterial hand sanitizer, gum, wet ones & a travel thing o aspirin. Got it in all 3 days. They never even opened my bag...

My advil was confiscated, even though it said "advil" on it! She said it had to be in the original packaging. I had a bitch of a security guard, in the first line up. My friend was in a different line up and the guy didn't even look in her bag. It's a crap shoot.

FYI if you do get an asshole security guard that for some reason won't let you bring in normal medicine, they do sell it inside the venue if you have a headache emergency. Best bet to be absolutely sure is stick a couple pills in some plastic and keep them in your wallet. That's what i always do with my allergy meds, which i undoubtedly end up needing when my whole face explodes from all that grass and dust

So weird... I had a whole opened bottle of CVS brand Excedrin, and they didn't even open it to check the contents. They ignored it completely! They did shake my sunscreen though to make sure it was liquid, which I thought was sort of amusing... A friend of mine had her birth control pills confiscated, even though they were in the sealed pack. I guess it really depends on the security guards.
