Yay or nay? I just got a new pair, and they seem to be pretty damn comfortable. Has anyone tried this approach before? All my shoes are thrashed, and I'm hoping this is the best alternative to a comfortable Coachella

Your feet will be so sore at the end Pocahontis.
Wear running shoes or tennis shoes.
You'll walk 4 miles + every day.
I've got the perfect pair of strappy, cork heeled sandals. Is that cool?
Haha I'll be walking 4+ miles every day before I get through the front gate. My shoes recently developed small holes in them, that more recently became larger holes. I did a pretty good job patching it (krazy glue and rubber pieces from old shoes)... but I just don't trust it. A new pair of kicks are too much on the feet. Where's the comfortable middle ground? Can I bring my jetpack?
That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm a six foot four pastey white guy. Moccasins don't exactly seem stylish to me.... but they did seem like they'd be a lot more comfortable than flip flops or shoes with holes in their soles (if/when the rubber patch is ripped off or worn through). I'll bring the bastards anyway.
I actually have my standard Coachella shoes and sadly they are rapidly closing in on their demise. I've even done the crocs despite the hate. This year I may just go with my trusty cross trainers regardless of their lack of fashion. I'll look good from the ankles up.![]()
Barefoot ftw. no blisters no socks no worries
wtf nayyyy, ur feet will be a painful, sweaty mess.
Basketball shoes for ankle support
Synthetic(non-cotton) based socks to wick away moisture and prevent blisters
*Mosh*
Wearing moccasins is disrespectful to Indians.

feel like being barefoot except you don't have to worry about stepping on cigarette butts or various bodily excretions
They take some getting used to, though, if you don't wear them regularly they'd probably make your arches pretty sore for a long trek like Coachella.
