Default The Between Titus and Tame Impala Clusterf***

    Hey All,

I'm an absolute lock for full sets from Titus and Tame Impala, but wedged between them I want to see every band not on the Sahara or Oasis Dome.

Anyone out there have some live insights/recs on Ozomatli, The Drums, The Morning Benders, Warpaint, Cee Lo, Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, and Ariel Pink to help me make some decisions.

I'm leaning towards 15-20 partials of The Drums, Warpaint, Cee Lo, and Pains but would love feedback from those that have already seen them.

Ozomatli: Exactly what you expect, they are good. But they conflict directly with Titus.

Ariel Pink: It conflicts directly with Tame Impala so you will be skipping it.

Morning Benders: I LOVED THIS BAND LIVE AT LOLLAPALOOZA. Especially in the heat, they work great.

I would go see MB and then get a nice spot for Tame Impala. Maybe run over the Cee-Lo or Warpaint if you get bored.

I for one will be busy seeing a historic Odd Future set in the SuperSahara.

That's a beyotch of a conflict. I committed to Tame Impala and have to work around it. I have not seen either one, but Morning Benders could provide a pretty mesmerizing set, though any of those others are good choices. In other words, no matter who you choose, there's gonna be a "WOW" posting for someone else in that slot -- never fails.

I saw The Morning Benders opening for Broken Bells almost a year ago and they were pretty bad. Like really boring, didn't move around much, didn't sound all the great live. Might have just the venue, but Broken Bells sounded great, so I have a feeling it was the band.
