Raphael Saadiq is the one that jumped out first; Robyn also loses out to Caifanes.
Karen O - Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetary, Sept. 18
Slowdive - Theatre at Ace Hotel, Nov. 8
First Aid Kit - Wiltern, Nov. 12
Coachella - Empire Polo Field, April 17-19

The Presets losing to Kanye is bumming me out. And I haven't chosen yet for the ridiculous clusterfuck of Chemical Brothers/Boys Noize/Gayngs, but that's going to be tragic no matter which way I slice it. Other than that I'm surprisingly good.

You know.. You could almost catch an entire hour of Kanye and still make it over for most of the Presets set. Just sayin'.

That's what I'll probably be doing.

You guys whine too much, I'm fucking stoked.

There's always going to be casualties. Especially this Sunday night. Oh well... It's better than choosing between a shitty band and wasting time.

Um, what? I'd rather have conflicts all day but also acts I want to see all day than conflicts some of the day and completely empty periods some of the day.

I've only got one hour or so where there's nobody I want to see. I'll take that over a less stacked lineup ANY day.

I have 2-3 artists conflicting ALL day on Friday. That is where I'm coming from.

Pretty disheartened about the Axwell/She Wants Revenge/Kanye conflict since I really wanted to see them all. Will probably end up with Kanye. Will also be missing out on Boys Noize and...I think Arcade Fire...(for Steve Angello)

Saturday: Empire of the Sun, The Tallest Man On Earth

    Sunday: PJ Harvey, Trentemoller

Overall, not nearly as bad as I feared. I'm going to be able to squeeze in The Chems, Robyn, Cut Copy and Crystal Castles on Friday, which I didn't think possible. And I'll even be able to catch The Presets closing the Mojave.

I love how you proceeded to make a list of the conflicts, then say how the set times are really manageable. I totally agree =)

I really would've liked to have seen Best Coast. But DFA 1979 will not be missed.
