Theft at Coachella

Yo - How's everybody doing?? - This is my first Coachella and I am beyond stoked - somewhere between groin grabingly excited and shoot skittles out of my ass with anticipation - I was just wondering if you guys have had many expieriences with theft at the concert? I for one will be bringing a Video Camera (for the camp site) and a small digital camera - I know I won't want to lug them both around all the time - so would it be safe to keep them in my tent? i camped one time. everyone seemed totally cool, and nothing got stolen, from us anyway. i cant speak for how the environment has changed since 2004 though.

I stole a gigantic pair of oversized reading glasses with the frames busted out that I found while raging in the Sahara tent. Then I lost them last year and someone else now probably wears them. It's like Pay It Forward. If that's what Pay It Forward means.

I HAVE NEVER HAD ANYTHING STOLEN AT COACHELLA, ESPECIALLY IN THE CAMP AREA YOU FEEL LIKE ALL OF YOUR STUFF IS SAFE. BUT ALL IT TAKES IS ONE PERSON AND YOUR STUFF IS GONE. I AGREE WITH THE OTHER PERSON BRING A DIG CAMERA THAT ALSO RECORDS. SEE YOU THERE!!

Thanks again - I have decided to just bring a Digi Camera that takes short videos - I want to be free to come and go as I please and a small digi is the best option for me

My purse was taken from the edge of my tent....while I was sleeping in it! The sneaky fuck took my camera, my cash, and debit card. But he was a thoughtful theif and left my phone, thanks man.
