1. Fair to Midland
2. RHCP
3. Against me
4. Fountains of WAyne
5. Jacks Mannequin
lollipops and crisps
Fountains of Wayne must suck ass.
I think I'll go watch them just to see how sucky a band can get.
5. Sonic Youth
4. Air
3. Willie Nelson
2. DJ Heather
1. Red Hot Chili Peppers
The Rapture
Jack's Mannequin
Tiesto
Fountains of Wayne
whatever acts play opposite Jarvis Cocker and Arcade Fire
1) Peaches (saw her supporting Suede at the Royal Festival Hall and was probably the worst act I have ever seen)
2) RATM
3) RHCP
4) Bjork
5) Tiesto
I can't stand these bands
ARCTIC MONKEYS-
tilly and the wall-
silversun pickups-
jacks mannequien
klaxons
thanks for the peaches lookout , i was just curious to see them.
I can easily miss
1. Nickelcreek
2. Fountains of Wayne
3. Anthallo?
4. the Avett Bros?
5. Mika?
who are these people?
As tends to be my way at festivals, I will probably miss the 5 acts I planned to see most cos I'll be too busy doing something else.
1. The Good, The Bad, The Queen (not impressed)
2. Nickle Creek
3. Travis
4. Fountains of Wayne
5. Jack's Mannequin
Now, in terms of unforunate time conflicts, here are the top 5 I would regret missing the most.
1. The Decemberists (might be closing Outdoor Theatre during RHCP)
2. Air (if they close out Outdoor/Sahara... I'd have to miss them for RATM)
3. Happy Mondays (if they close out Mojave/Outdoor... I'd have to miss them for RATM)
4. Kaiser Chiefs (on the same tier as Placebo, Damien Rice, New Porn, etc.)
5. Bjork (if Faithless closes Sahara on Friday Night, I'll be seeing that instead)
I'm interested to find out why you dismiss them completely, yet don't know who they are....
Only acts I know I'll definitely miss are
1.RHCP - seen 'em, bleh. Don't need the hassle of waiting for a headliner that isn't worth it.
2.Willie Nelson - he's a legend, and a hilarious pothead curmudgeon, but I've never dug him.
3.Ghostface Killah - Wu Tang would have been worth seeing but not solo, thanks.
4.Nickel Creek - aren't they at the Polo Grounds a week early?
5.Blonde Redhead - they sucked at Lolla 05, so no thanks.
...and for the record, Fountains of Wayne won't even be in the top 10 worst acts of the weekend. I caught a little bit of their set at Summerfest and it's fun, tight indie pop. Nothing more, nothing less.

A teenage dream, so hard to beat...
1) Interpol - Like their music, seen them live. Boring.
2) Jesus and Mary Chain - I'm unfamiliar besides a song or two I've heard and they're billed high enough that someone else will be worth seeing.
3) Fountains of Wayne - They wrote "Stacy's Mom".
4) Paul van Dyk - I liked his music in 1999. It's 2007 and now I know the difference between good and bad music.
5) Teddybears - Did they rip off Kid Rock with that one song?
1.Rage against the Machin
2.Stacy's Mom Band
3.Fair to Midland
4.Tiesto
5.Paul Van Dyk
amos lee
anathallo
circa survive
fountains of wayne
jack's mannequin
plus much more
Rage Against The Machine - nothing against em just not my scene
Red Hot Chilli Peppers - They make me throw up in my mouth, survery says, No
Mika
Those are the only 3 I would definitely rule out, however there are others I might miss but probably only for a lack of knowledge or time on my part.
2005, 2007, 2011, 2012 W1, 2012 W2, and now 2013 W1 & 2013 W2!!!
Fair to Midland
Peaches
Circa Survive
The Feeling
Stephen Marley
Kaiser Chiefs
Interpol
Arctic Monkeys
Decemberists
RHCP
These are all bands my friends love and I actually like but saw them once before and don't really need to see again.
Except for RHCP which I just don't care to see in the first place![]()
RHCP - Haven't liked them in 10+ years
RATM - Haven't liked them ever
Arctic Monkeys - Completely annoy the shit out of me
Nickelcreek - Should be at Stagecoach
Fountains of Wayne - Kill me now
Jack's Mannequin - Kill me again
i will miss...
nickel creek
gillian welch
regina spektor
jacks mannequin
arcade fire
Interpol-
They have a few songs that i like, but otherwise their music is very redundant and boring, and i can't imagine being bored by them live. I could care less to see them live really. Besides, they are a quintessential hipster/emo magnet band. Blah...
Willie Nelson-
His music never did much for me. Much respect to him and his legacy, but I really don't care too much.
Placebo
Once again- the hipster/emo music- never has and never will do anything for me. There are tons of bands out there that sound just like them. Is the disco rock era almost over yet?
Fountains of Wayne
How could they even be playing the same day as Kings of Leon and The Black Keys? F of W is music for 12 year olds. So so so boring, and typical. I pray that i don't have to see them waiting for Rage! God, that would be torture. Cuz i know i'm not going to leave my spot while waiting.
Kaiser Chiefs
One of those bands thati could care less to see live. Listening to their music is already enough of a stretch outside of my taste.
Actually, hipsters tend to hate Placebo because they're a successful British rock band that isn't Radiohead. On the ateaseweb music forum, aka the unofficial pitchforkmedia.com messageboard there have been no fewer than 100 alias accounts created solely to slam Placebo, like "Placebo Fucking Suck", "Placebo = rap/rock", "Huge Fan of ToolPlaceboICP", etc. And a hundred more for Tool or Christopher O'Riley.
How about three? It's hard for me to choose between the others!
1. Circa Survive
2. Nickel Creek
3. Julieta Vengas
Lily Allen
Rufus Wainwright
Fountains of Wayne
Lupe Fiasco
Rodrigo y Gabriela
Although this thread is terrible, I can't resist:
1. RATM -- am avoiding Sunday just to avoid their fans
2. Arctic Monkeys -- wish they were this year's Franz, but they're not
3. Kid Beyond -- if I wasn't missing Sunday cause of Rage, I'd skip because of him!
4. Girl Talk -- I'm hoping Shaun Ryder feeds this guy too many e's so he'll expire midset
5. Travis -- who the fuck are they, and why are they listed so high?
