After last year, I have decided to approach this year with guarded optimism. I am hoping for the best, but I have my doubts. I am encouraged by the new features.

This. I know it's nice to get hyped up about all the great features/added measures, but IMO it's much better to just stay cautiously optimistic. If everything is as incredible as it seems, then awesome! If not, at least you didn't hype yourself up too much

After reading an LA Times article today I am starting to think we are in for the biggest treat. I think it will visually top everything else before. The pyramid will now symbolize old coachella.

I think it will be like no festival experience before it.

Honestly, I feel very good about this year going in.
Last year wasnt an unsalvageable disaster but it was easily my least favorite (of 7) Coachellas and the one that felt the least like Coachella. It might as well have been shitty Lollapalooza.

This time I really do see a ton of signs pointing to GV really trying to make this not only as good as it was but even better.

I am very psyched.

Reading this makes me feel good! Last year seemed so fucked up! I hate to say anything negative about something so amazing (09 was my first year, and I feel so privelaged and lucky that this will be my third year!), and I can hardly even remember now, but I had a few complaints last year that I hadn't had in 09. This year feels like it'll be the best yet. I feel like I'm opening up a present every time I see a new picture, or read about some change, and the anticipation of the set times (yes... part of why I'm still up. No.... not the entire reason!). It may just be me, personally, but there feels like a lot of good energy surrounding this weekend! And... of course..... $5 VIP showers!
