rage is boring. there are so many great anarcho-primitivist folk-punk/punk/metal bands, and radically-political bands in general that are relitavely unknown but are twice as politically insightful as Rage. and they aren't rich, but they still get their message out. but through more respectable methods, doing all their work themselves, never having promoters or agents or publicists or even roadies do the work that they could do themselves. ratm never really did anything new, they just got really popular and had a unique guitarist.


Rage Against the Machine is to politically-charged rock as Elvis is to rock (rock existed long before elvis and had been done better, but elvis was marketable to young people who watch too much TV and therefore he got all the credit)
