im trying to find that flyer you posted or any language on the website that talks about there being a 1 tickets per person max for early bird sale so i know if i can buy them for some friends or not.

the fine print on the flyer is too blury to read on here so im just looking for some clarification.

It's one transaction per card, limit of 5 passes for GA or 2 for VIP per person.

What are the actual tickets like? Wristbands? Magnetic swipe cards? Standard ticketmaster tickets (hard and or electronic printable ones)? 3 different hard tickets for 3 different days when you order the 3day pass? I assume transferable so people can buy them for their friends, but how does that work?

The site appears to be back at full strengh now because the $149 "early birds" are completely out. Now it is on to the next price tier, the "advanced" price, which is $229.95. After fees taxes and whichever shipping method you choose you're now looking at around $300 for one advanced GA ticket.

finally got thru, $570 for two tickets with $110 in service fees.........how the fuck is it $55 per ticket, that is retarded. Not buying until I get some lineup info.

yeah, fuck this. I was ok with $149 plus fees, but there's no way $300 for the ticket, plus airfare from California and hotel, plus convincing other friends to do the same, is going to be feasible. Not a big deal, since EDC Vegas and their 8PM-6AM festival time pwns anyways. I can get my daytime festival fix at the polo fields in april.

Also, time spent buying coachella 2012 ticket, 2.5 minutes. I was on the site at 9:59 am when those went on sale and was done minutes later. Not like those noobs that logged on at 10:04 and had to wait an hour or more.

Seems like there's always a reason to kick myself for not going after the lineup is finalized, but I'm in the same boat. After hitting up six festivals this year, I definitely am OK with focusing $$$ on half that number next year, and not including this one.
