Wristband/Ticket Package Cost?

Just out of curiosity, how much do you think Goldenvoice put into these packages and high tech wristbands?

I'm not complaining, I love the package! Super cool. I'm just curious because it seems like it would be a lot and i'm sure it effects the costs for us.

The costs for printing go down drastically as you get into the tens of thousands. I'd be surprised if each printed piece of paper included coast more than $.05 - $.10 each to print when you figure there's maybe 60k each of them

It was a great way to ship since the sharp pointy things would have punctured through most any other shipoping materials. The extras (postcards, calendar, etc) are great promo/advertising tools.

My sticker broke . Only about half the letters pealed off with the clear part, the rest were still stuck to the sheet.

When putting on a decal make sure you rub all the edges with a card or a coin or something. Otherwise it won't stick correctly.

Totally agree. The website could be so much cooler but seems like it's stuck in 2000.

The real cost is collating all of the materials. I imagine GV is getting some of the "convenience fees" we paid TM since TM is not fulfilling the orders this year. And it's hard to put too much money into a website for an event that happens once a year ...

edit: and I would trade all of the fancy packaging to have my passes arrive in time.

I'm sure some great web designers would design a new site in exchange for a VIP pass or something. I know a buddy of mine would do it in a heart beat and he makes amazing sites.

design is one thing, the back end/programming & functionality is the bitch. the constant changing of info, the constant need to add things.. its complex
