Maybe you should read the whole thread before you say anything and see that I said Corona is overrated and I said I prefer Victoria or Modelo.

Newcastle is never too dark, people who think this have not had the displeasure of tasting a double chocolate stout or bacon beer. Once you go black, you stay the fuck away from it.

I agree on the idea for a new sponsor, maybe something more original like Longboard Ale from the Kona Brewing Co. that would be pretty damn sweet, in bottles though, on tap it just isn't the same. Realistically I would like to see Guiness sponsor Coachella, as it is one of the finest mainstream beers available.

I agree with the first part. After reading his posts, it's obvious he knows very little about beer. But, I gotta disagree with you about some blacks... Stone's Sublimely self-righteous ale is very good. Full Sail makes a very good black IPA as well. Good stuff. And I go back every now and again.

I would be deliriously happy if there was a Coachella IPA option for 7$ a cup (or cheaper of course). Goes down easy cold or air temp.. Higher ABV... Perfect.

Crappy tasting Heineken keeps me out of the beer garden so I don't miss stuff. Tasty secret whiskey keeps me lubricated.

I realize that reading my post that I came off as too extreme. I love black IPAs and IPA in general and I'll agree Sublimely Self-Righteous was excellent. I just wanted to point out that Newcastle is not even scratching the surface of darker brews.

Agreed with the any cold beer is good beer when its 1000 degrees out. Don't mind heineken anyways. I bring in my trusty flask of Jameson and buy a soda when the sun goes down and don't spend any money on booze anyways

If Coachella were to have any new beer sponsorship it should be from a California Brewed company.
    My Vote:
Their Great White and Indica IPA are to die for.

I think Karl Strauss would have a much better chance if we're talking California brewed beers, they were at fucking California Adventure Land...free tasting, it was fucking spectacular.

Well, apparently they'll have at least one cocktail place accessible to everyone this year.
