Nah, I still feel like correcting you. You're wrong. Heather McIntosh (the cello player at FYF) played with OTC as early as 1999. See http://www.heathermcintosh.com/?page_id=7/
And she recorded with Circulatory System, Will Cullen Hart's project, in 2003.1999

I burned Ty Segall's Goodbye Bread and Melted onto one disc yesterday and listened to it on shuffle while driving. I had heard both albums before, but not really in depth, and after Finger came on and it brought back how fucking awesome that song was at FYF at this point I'm convinced it's his best song.

I just got the split that he did with Black Time. Good solid stuff. It's interesting how much he's grown as a songwriter.
I'm still partial to his Daytrotter session. It really captures the live sound that I think works a lot better for him, at least to me.
That's pretty true about most of the songs. He just has so much god damn energy.
Live at Aisle 5 is another great example. I'm just going through it for the first time.
Live at Aisle 5 is awesome... I wish he played Sad Fuzz. Both times I saw him, no Sad Fuzz.
