Are there going to be ANY late adds?

Time is getting close...as of today there are only 22 days till the festival is live.

While I have heard in the past of adds I have not kept up with the dates of those adds.

Has anyone kept track of dates of additions and the time frame to the festival?

Money wise it doesn't make sense for them to add any bands if they've paid for everyone and the tickets are sold out.

I'd guess they have a few bands waiting in the wings in case other bands drop out for flight reasons or any issues....which there was last year.

I would say that MOST of the adds in the past were acts that were already booked but there were contract things, or visa problems, or scheduling conflicts, or something that prevented them from being on the schedule when it first was released. Meaning, adds largely have nothing to do with spending more money.

I'm amazed at how long some bands wait to get to California. Some fly in the day of their show and others just one day in advance.

Why is it that bands not on tour don't show up 2-3 days in advance to make sure they are here and on time? There are so many fans here it'd be a waste to let the opportunity pass on by.

Was it last year or the year before the volcano ash caused a lot of flight problems?

Last year was the volcano that caused a few bands/groups/acts cancel.

Volcano on Thursday and some acts played on Sunday. fever Ray and Gorillaz arrived a week early.

Has Golden Voice ever added any late adds but didn't tell anybody so it was a total surprise to attendees? If not, that might be a cool idea, if it's never been done before now, and I don't recall it ever being done in the past. It seems to be we've always known who the late adds were. What if they added a couple of mid-tier acts as a "thank you" and just didn't tell any of us until we showed-up and saw them listed on the pamphlet?

pretty sure Kanye wasnt added until 2 days before 2006, and he didnt show up on the lineup until the day of.
