One aspect of her project... but that's true of anything that tries to incorporate interactivity. It doesn't mean the effort is wasted. That's the nice thing about exploring this side of music distribution... If the music is there, we all know that's the thing that will persist and transcend whatever it was packaged with. The rest can be a temporary vessel used to solidify our relationship to that moment in time when it was released. It sounds cheap to try and articulate it as a way to preemptively facilitate our nostalgia for the initial point of contact... but I think there is some value to that.
i dig the new tune... i wish she would dive back into her really orchestral weird side... but this sounds better than Volta.
Can someone send me a PM on where I can download this, please?
Awwww, not in da group? Bummer.
Uh, this song is all kinds of win.
EDIT: Thx.
wow, very very very awesome! i hope she's on the field next year, first headliner I ever saw at Coachella and she blew my mind
Please check out my blog Sleeping is Giving In for some great mixes and other good things!
Certainly better than Volta, yes. Reminds me a bit of the Vespertine B-Sides, specifically It's In Our Hands.
Whoa what just happened.
It's like Richard D. James came over to Bjork's house for tea.
Bingo was his name.
Sounds excellent! Cant wait to hear it live....reminds me of All is full of love/Pagan Poetry/volta ending...love it.
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
Coachella: 4/11-13 @ Empire Polo Fields
Redcoats.
Definitely literally choked on my beer when the Aphex ending kicked in.
This track kills. Possible new show opener? Think it would work nicely.
All the "crystallines" being posted by Bjork's fb page today are really tripping me out.
6/18 - Mount Kimbie/Holy Other - Echoplex (?)
6/22 - Father John Misty/White Fence - Glass House (?)
6/26 - Tricky - El Rey (?)
6/29 - Twin Shadow - Fonda (?)
7/12 - Black Flag - Observatory

It's lovely but... a tad underwhelming? I kind of agree that it sounds like a Vespertine B-side with the obvious exception of those last 20 secs or so. I guess it's a bit much to expect her to reinvent her sound on every release. New Bjork is always a reason to celebrate.
i <3 it!
Oh wow. I want to hear more.
This is promising...
.
I had a dream with Bjork in it last night, we discussed her new single and I asked about the "Aphex ending". I wish I remember more of it, but it was neat!
Oh man, now I can't stop listening to this track.
.
