They didn't suck, but the show was pretty meh. Same thing at Lolla too, glad I caught Cypress Hill instead.

Cypress Hill was pretty good years ago at street scene in San Diego.
I can see how MGMT would be meh- their music is somewhat laid back. Too bad. What about LCD? I heard they were absolutely awful! Is this true as well?

2002: cake, cornershop, folk implosion, foo fighters, strokes (i was taken to the hospital, but got brought back 3 minutes before prodigy took the stage )
2003: fischerspooner, underworld, blur
2004: lcd soundsystem, underworld, juana molina (only went saturday. i regret not seeing m.i.a. or muse on sunday)
2005: bauhaus, immortal technique
2006: tv on the radion, the section quartet, gnarls barkley, phoenix, scissor sisters (cos i'd NEVER miss tool) and pissed off hard fi canceled!
2007: dj shadow, gogol bordello, peter bjorn and john, css
2008: yoav, dredg
2009: cage the elephant, molotov
2010: the whitest boy alive, miike snow

I just realized that I left out five to ten bands that I regretted missing at last year's Coachella but then got to see OSL and Treasure Island. Every other act in Treasure Island was an act that I missed at Coachella, it was fucking sweet

LCD SS...since they are breaking up now. I was waiting for/at Little Dragon and what kills me is I think I could've been there (and still made it back for Little Dragon) when they played "SOmeone Great" "I Can Change" and "All My Friends", three tracks that I enjoy very much

Agreed on the second half of Sir Paul. The first half was surprisingly low-key for a headliner, and we took advantage of getting out ahead of traffic. We heard all of the hits as we were walking to the parking lot.

I didn't see their Coachella performance, but I did see them at Treasure Island and they were incredible.

LCD was awesome, I don't know how someone could call it awful. I was in a great spot in the crowd, glowsticks were flying everywhere when they opened with Us vs. Them.
