The Cure. Heard about them playing till they shut off the sound. Wish I could have seen it but I had to get up for work at 6:00 Monday a.m. and left after Paul Weller was over that night at like 8:00.

I'm so glad I was front and center for Beirut. To this day it remains in my top 5 coachella shows ever. Simply amazing.
well, when you consider that what actually happened is my and gf decided to head back to camp early and fall asleep to the distant sounds of jack johnson...i can't actually decide if that's better or worse.
p.s.- jack johnson should play the campgrounds every night; his soothing brand of light bro-rock is actually quite relaxing.

Regret leaving Radiohead early in '04. Whyyyyy oh whyyy did I do that (I mean, aside from being completely and totally exhausted and in pain after being on my feet since noon)? I remember hating myself for it when I heard Everything in Its Right Place from the campgrounds.
Also, leaving My Bloody Valentine early... my buddy wanted to go see someone in the Sahara. Boo on him.
My stupid girlfriend at the time was responsible for that. Never again will I let anyone prevent me from seeing what I want.

If we're lucky something will happen. Some adversity will happen and something unexpected will happen and you'll get tired and you'll get hungry, you'll have trouble going to the bathroom, and you'll lose your car keys, and all these wonderful things will add up to some powerful experience that 10 years from now we'll say "We lived, we lived." - Wayne Coyne on Coachella
"All of you coachella 'regulars' have nasty boy pussies and itchy dick4's on your asses.
Why don't you all make like a tree and get chopped down and die. You all have been dreadfully mean to me.
I Hate you. All of you. None of you will ever get to see a womans chest meat or finger blast hott cougies like me.
Fuck you all. Consider this my resignation.
Fair the well, you elitest scumbags."

The party was at Little Dragon, anyway.
Off the top of my head, these are the acts I regret not catching, whether due to them being scheduled at the same time as something more interesting or a screwup on my part.
2004: Kraftwerk, all of the Sunday acts
2005: New Order, The Chemical Brothers
2006: Cat Power, Mogwai
2007: The Jesus and Mary Chain
2008: Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, Akron/Family, Islands, The Raconteurs
2009: Beirut, Throbbing Gristle, Gang Gang Dance, second half of Glass Candy, Jenny Lewis, Tinariwen
2010: Jonsi, Echo & the Bunnymen, Them Crooked Vultures, the full Devo set (left after half an hour to catch some 2manydj's, but couldn't get into the tent), 2manydjs, Dirty Projectors, Camera Obscura, Pavement, Yann Tiersen

I have to post since I think I have you all beat. I missed Daft Punk in 2006 because I drank someone's magic elixir and couldn't move my legs. Although I could hear them in the distance.... mocking me. I STILL haven't forgiven her for that and bring it up every Coachella. Epic FAIL.
This'll be my first Coachella, and I'm trying to do my research so that I don't miss out on anyone... I was hoping to do it based on the schedule, but I didn't realize until recently how late the schedule comes out.
Went to Bonnaroo in '08 and missed MMJ's 4 hour late night set (it was raining, I was drunk... I was on my way to MMJ but got sidetracked at the indoor karoke tent... for 3 hours. In my defence, the karoke tent at least had a live band for backup). Also missed Sigur Ros's late night set...it was after Pearl Jam and I was too exhausted to walk over to Sigur Ros's stage... will always regret it. Also missed the Raconteurs because I was at at backstage barbeque (and I'm a vegetarian!)
