^fucking awesome
Rhythm is a dancer.
Comedy lineup was announced here.
I may take my girlfriend to this, she really wants to see Ray Lamontagne and tickets are 50-75$ in Vancouver so might as well do a weekend trip to Bumbershoot.
The schedule was released: http://sched.bumbershoot.org/
Everything's spaced out pretty well, except for like three of the big(ish) names always conflicting right at the end. But that wasn't really unexpected anyways.
And Eyehategod is missing from the schedule so I'm assuming they cancelled.

Hey Seattle, stand still!
"Opportunity to dance" tax on Seattle live music venues threatens their ability to stay open
What a bunch of crap on the part of the DOR.

I'm getting some last minute cramming in thanks to:
Last.fm's Bumbershoot Radio
I can't even fathom a guess as to the "Special Guests" that are still nameless on the schedule. Do they wait until the last minute to announce these?

Did Sunday only.
Atari Teenage Riot had a lineup around the block. The show itself was quite cool, even I went because of a friends and it's not totally my kind of music. Indoor venue with lasers and echo-y sound - it was amusing to see curiosity seekers walk out within 10 minutes only leaving and intimate gathering of faithful bouncing around in the pit. I think they signed just outside the venue after their set.
BTW, Com Truise cancelled day of the show.
Whiskey Sour
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 cherry
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
Hmm I missed that. Anyway my highlights included:
Shabazz Palaces, Little Dragon, Warpaint, School of Seven Bells (in EMP SkyChurch), Seattle Symphony "untuxed", Phantogram at KEXP lounge, Eisley (sort of), and of course Hall and Oates. The festival was definitely a bit scaled down this year, but it was a lot easier to get around. And that Starbucks lounge (free drinks) is great.

Actually ended up going all three days. The Kills, Butthole Surfers, Valient Thorr, Presidents of The USA, Amy Schumer/Eugine Mirman standup, and Hall & Oates were all amazing.
I didn't even mind that it was scaled down. Made it super easy to get close to all of the bands. Like I didn't even have to push past anyone to get to the front row for some bands (particularly the metal ones). The Key Arena is also a much nicer venue than Memorial Stadium.
I had a blast! Since it was my first time there, I can't really say how it compared to previous "full blown" Bumbershoot fests, but I thought there was a decent amount of people there, but because it's so spread out you don't really have problems navigating around the area or have to put up with many people are there all at once, save for the big name shows. My guess on the attendance would be around 25,000 a day... maybe a little less on Monday.
There were some decent food vendors, but I thought the differences in pricing were a bit odd. You could stop by 4-6 different locations for a botttle of water or Coke and get different prices at each place, sometimes a difference in whole dollars.
I really liked how they did the theatre comedy "ticketing" system, where you could pick up a free pass to be guaranteed access to a certain show (one per ticketholder per day), and the rest of the seats (Approx. 20%) would be taken up by people in the standby line. Worked out very well. Also the beergarden areas gave those who chose to imbibe a very good view of the action on stage.
Perfect weather, everybody was in a great mood, met some cool people (one beautiful example at the Phantogram show who was a Coachella vet), just an all-around win.
Haha! I was in that faithful lot, bouncing away like an idiot screaming along to "Sick to Death" like I was 16 again. That set was definitely the highlight of the festival for me... other favorites were Phantogram, Warpaint, the Kills, the Sight Below, YACHT, Thee Oh Sees, a split set of Hall and Oates (in a surprisingly non-ironic way) and Grant Lee Buffalo... all killer. Some comedy sets were awesome as well, Doug Benson and Hari/Kyle/Anthony provided some much needed breaks in-between tons of music.
All in all, a great time and a good value. Will definitely be interested in going back next year.
I'll post some pictures later... haven't had the time to upload anything yet, and probably won't until tomorrow.
