What do you wear at an outdoor fest

Ok so maybe this is really a dumb question, but its Friday and maybe I just feel like getting some flack from the board …. Why do you were what you do at a concert … I am talking mostly outdoor fests and not just a single one night concert … is it something that is really comfortable that you know you can were all day and be just that, comfortable … is it the latest concert shirt to show that you are cool … is it your first concert shirt to show how you have known a group for a long time … if you are a guy, is it just a pair of jeans and you take your shirt off to show off …. If you are a girl, is it trashy so you can look hot …. Is it the latest in name brands so you look hip … do you just throw on something and you don’t give a flip what it is or what people think …. I tend to wear patched jeans with one of my older concert shirts … when I wear say an early pink Floyd shirt from the 70’s, or my original Woodstock shirt, it is to elicit a conversation from the peeps walking by so I can meet new friends …. Maybe why I wrote this post is, I am thinking of wearing one of those hippie skirts or even a hippie type dress to the roo or a jammy fest … I like to think I am not homophobic at all, but the last thing I want people to think is I am gay ( its your choice gang, but I like only the gals) .. if it were a kilt, I don’t think most people would even think about it …. is that gay or too out there for most of the concert going folks (for the general populace and work that is a given) … so why do you wear what you wear at shows … cr****** I am going to loose what little creditability I have here with this post lol …..

I wear a shirt with a HUGE RED e in the front.

Makes sure everyone knows who I am.

Sometimes I take that shirt off.

be comfy - it can be a tough day out there....no matter how 'hip' a shirt you wear you'll still look funny with giant pit stains and a sweaty back

bring a hat/visor/sombrero too...

i usually rock the lightest shirt i can find that isn't see-through. something that'll breathe very well, but still keep the sun off of me. buttons are good, so the amount of skin exposed can be varied.

baggy shorts and boxers, so my balls can breathe.

good athletic socks and the most comfortable shoes i can find.

my maui jim sunglasses. expensive, but my eyes LOVE me.

...and my volcom military style hat that's been to every coachella i've gone to.

i'm definitely not worried about setting trends or making people think i'm cool just because i wear an old concert t.

Shorts, shirt or no shirt, under armour to prevent chafing, comfortable shoes and sunglasses. That is it.

prescription sunglasses! i'm a believer.

it's kind of a pain in the ass to schlep a glasses case around with me all day and night for my two pairs of glasses, but my eyes love me.

I don't think I can afford prescription sunglasses. And I hate sunglasses anyway. I don't want to make a fashion statement with my eyes. It's also really hard to find any that look good on me.

I had to go to Food4Less last year and buy gold bond medicated powder (I should have bought the cream). This year I will be chafe free wearing these.
