I doubt this amuses other as much as it does me, but whenever I watch older movies I am totally fascinated by the often completely terrible, yet totally awesome theme songs during the opening credits that actually features the name of the film in the lyrics. It always leads me to wonder how awesome the themes of other movies could have been had they had similar theme songs. This is where we will compile as many of them as we can into one place.

i didn't know how strong my guilty pleasure was for phil collins' songs from the 80's was until i heard this song again.

also, even though the song was created before the film, this one is pretty great.

In both cases it's pretty cheesy.

I don't think the latter is annoying at all. A little cheesy, yes. If I was really rich, I'd make a western and have somebody make a song with the film title.
