Ha, I was gonna see Krush tonight at liquid room tonight since he's doing a 7 hour set. But it's not worth 5,000 yen when it's 77 to $1 at the moment.

God how I would love to live in Tokyo and get into that electro scene.

This is a good place to start- http://www.electronicexplorations.org. There are a lot of sets you can stream and Rob Booth really knows his shit with bass music.

thanks for the suggestions, I really liked the 303 influence in Boddika's stuff. Mount Kimbie was another good one, I also stumbled upon lots of good stuff on Night Slugs during my downloading. Bok Bok and Kingdom's recent EP's are very solid and add a nice house element to the bass. Also, that website had some awesome mixes, Swarms had a great one in there.

Wonder if he'll be live though. Hard summer last year was a dj set - I told people to check him out but I don't think anyone did.

But yay for sbtrkt and ramadanman being on the west coast in a few months!

re that lineup - 2 days? even if I did still live in so. cal I believe that my absence at all events Hard would carry on.

I will be at the Seattle show. Only $14 makes it fit easily into my show budget.

(and I would be pissed too if I still lived in so cal)

Well, that was incredible - I loved how he was able to mix a bit of DJ work in between some of the tracks. Why oh why can't there be another non-HARD LA date?!?

Amon tobin + sbtrkt makes me consider moogfest. I hear ashville is pretty heady.

SBTRKT live at the Bowrey Ballroom on Haloween 3 days after Amon Tobin makes me giddy.
