I wouldn't be surprised to see his name on the poster again next year. Only live.

His dj sets excite me more than his live stuff atm. His live show will be incredible in a few years. His dj sets are insanity right now.
definitely checked his whole set out in the dome. really glad i got to see that.
met high contrast during it too!
the music is what its all about, you love it just like i love it.

Ive watched a full video of the live show and it was cool. Its impressive what hes trying to produce live but you can tell its still a work in progress. I prefer the harder style of his dj set rather than the more rnb oriented live set. I could see how someone else would disagree with me, but its really a matter of opinion.
Wish I saw this set...

I saw his whole set and loved it. The Dome got more and more crowded as his set went on. Probably all the Lil B fans showing up early but either way everyone was going crazy.
I actually just thought I was going crazy because I remembered leaving High Contrast early for DFA. Had to make sure I wasn't losing it. SBTRKT's Coachella set was very good, and I think I left that early to grab a spot for Elbow.
SBTRKT was dope but he has so much more to offer now. I can't wait to see him again when he has a more polished set.
Finally gave the whole album a listen, I'm in love with the whole rnb vibe and really impressed by the vocalists. This song in particular has gotten me through the last two weeks of mcat hell:
I used to enjoy some UK dubstep like Skream's earlier work, but this stuff totally blows it out of the water. I'm ready to explore some real bass music. I'm pretty new to this type of music, anyone got any suggestions for artists/albums that I might like? I've only heard stuff from SBTRKT, Joy Orbison, and a bit from James Blake so far but I thoroughly enjoyed most of it. Thanks in advance.
boddika is one to check out

SBTRKT iTunes festival London is around. I can send a link if anyone needs it.
Well obviously check out Burial if you haven't, Zomby has a new album that is pretty good, Machinedrum's new album is very solid, Hyetal's new album is also solid, Clubroot is good for some really mellow/melodic stuff, Daega Soundsystem, Mount Kimbie, Swarms also has a really good album out. This is a good place to start- http://www.electronicexplorations.org. There are a lot of sets you can stream and Rob Booth really knows his shit with bass music.
Definitely catching the 24th and possibly the 2 other Tokyo dates. Too bad I was too delirious and jet lagged to catch him at Coachella.21 sep - dommune (DJ) - tokyo
22 sep - sunsui (LIVE) - osaka
23 sep - liquid room (DJ) - tokyo
24 sep - liquid room (LIVE) - tokyo
Has anyone else noticed this on his tour dates page?
25 OCT - 5 NOV (LIVE TOUR ) - U.S

That is FANTASTIC. Except for the part where Gary Richards books him for Hard Haunted Mansion. Please god don't let that happen.

The ICEE Hot event in SF is actually really fun--Ghosts on Tape is pretty stellar. Too fucking bad that falls on the same night as Trentemoller and allegedly Shpongle LIVE. Jesus.

Okay nevermind those dates are from last year, my bad.
Although I'm sure he'll be there again...
