Heard from a semi-reliable source that Phish will be doing a night or two at Shoreline in July or August. No OSL for Phish, supposedly.

This jiives with the rumor that PHISH will be at the Gorge the first weekend of August.

With these Summer shows being the last shows of the year, I hope like hell they are doing a 2 day run at Shoreline, just like the old days.

So the good news is, I was selected to get 2 tickets through the presale for the Hollywood Bowl. The bad news? My tickets are in section fucking W2, row 7, which means I'm 3 rows from the back of the entire venue. WTFFFFFFFFF

On the bright side Chris, mail-order tickets always look really cool. Plus, you can always try for an upgrade during the regular on sale and unload your mail order tickets to some phan.

Well, since this isnt a regular outdoor amp where the seating area is tiny and the rest is GA, their allotment probably got spread around quite a bit. Just wait til the bowl auctions off all the prime seats the week of the show as usual.

The quality/atmosphere of the shows there are always second to none don't get me wrong. It's just the process leading up to the band taking the stage that bothers me. But that's from me never having a subscription or the cash to buy the auctioned seats. One day...
