Just because they nominate a few good acts does not mean anyone should give 1 ounce of credit to the Grammy Awards.

The only award show that isn't 99% complete bullshit is the Oscars.

The Grammys are making a very transparent attempt at becoming relevant again.

My picks in bold. Im an Eminem fan, but I hate the way his stuff gets grossly overplayed. He's won best rap album for every major album he's released. I liked B.O.B.'s album so Im pleased to see him get some attention. I hope Drake does not win best new artist and hope Nicki Minaj never wins a Grammy.

No love for Plastic Beach anywhere?!
8/27 Rock the Bells @ Shoreline
9/1 Amon Tobin @ The Warfield
9/30 DJ Premier vs. Pete Rock @ Mighty

No, i'm fairly certain the Oscars are complete bullshit as well.

Also, John Legend, The Roots etc etc covering Arcade Fire-Wake Up is not very good. It lacks the energy and build up of the original. In fact it's an annoying cover song.
