Neko Case to Play with New Pornographers!

According to Pitchfork (http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/articl...to_Spring_Tour) Neko Case will be joining the New Pornographers onstage at Coachella, which is fantastic news. I've seen them 4 times, twice with her and twice without, and the band exudes a whole new level of energy with her onstage.

I can tell you that i thought I would never pay to see her again as the two times I saw her she did nothing but act like a pain in the ass and argued with the sound man between every song.

I'm not exaggeriting, they were both pissing eachother off and it got worse as the night went on. She played for a full 45 minutes and did zero encores. I guessing you can clock the ranting about sound in at about 20 min. Huge disapointment. Love the cd's though.

I saw the New Pornographers at Lollapalooza last summer. Neko was not with them. A.C. Newman's neice handled the female vocals. She also plays keyboards either way.

Ohhhh ok that makes sense. I just thought that would kinda suck for her if she just got kicked off a couple gigs to make room for thier old lead singer haha. But she plays keyboards, so thats cool.

Damn that sucks. Are all of them even going to be on the new album? I really hope the full band is together for their fall tour dates. I love this band, but without all the members, it is not the same.
