Um.... that sounds absolutely fucking incredible. If there is even 1 solid name on the bill I'll be there because it is right next door, and the atmosphere at this place is incredible. The lack of law enforcement, the free for all drug culture, and the unrestrained raging of twenty thousand neohippies = amazing time.

Now they need to add real speakers to that DJ tent and even the main stage. I think they have shitty sound because the neighbors will complain and its on private property. No cops and complete mayhem comes with a price i guess =/

Can anyone describe the festival environment? Sounds similar to Wakarusa. Is at all jam-bands and jam-band fans? More diverse crowd? Are the festival grounds beautiful like Waka, or just blah farmland like Bonnaroo? Is there art like Coachella? Is it possible to go w/o going nuts on drugs and still have a decent time?

This is only about 4 hours from me so i'd be tempted to throw my nice tent into my car and drive out. Heck, the VIP tickets are < $400, that's pretty damn tempting.

Um.... grounds are similar to Roo style, its in grassy hilly site.

Its more electro than jam bands.

There is art but its done by people who camp, not by hired artists.

The crowd is very fun, everyone is there to party hard.

I didn't do any drugs last year, just a bit of weed and drinking and I had an amazing time.

Basically its like a mini Roo with better electro and 0 security whatsoever.

Apparently they have a terrible legacy of rain. Last year it stayed dry all weekend except for an issolated insane thunderstorm that blew over on saturday night for about 3 hours. They had to cancel a few sets including my friends Papadosio. Hopefully they are on the bill again this year.

One thing Bisco just about always has going for it is The New Deal.

I think a flux/doctor P set would absolutely obliterate the latenight tent. I'm also hoping for some Ninjatune love. Amon Tobin has played in the past, and Daedelus seems to be doing fests this year....

Basically every single dubstep set that I've seen in the last year has played something from Circus records and its always a highlight. I don't see how those guys could be anything but maximum rampage. At times dubstep is boring as hell, but at 3AM when everyone is completely faced on molly, it it really fucking fun.

Now I have an HD camera that gets the same sick sound.

Also, I believe Papadosio will be back at Bisco for a redemption set. Its great news to hear that they are really blowing up this year, playing sold out shows wherever they go. If anyone out there loves jamtronica, they are an incredible addition to the scene. Go check them out and show some love, most shows are only 5-10 bucks.

I'll be there, I give the lineup a solid 7. Some of the acts make no sense like Yeasayer, and I feel that bribing back Bassnectar and PL is a lame thing to do. Overall there are some fun names, I guess I'll be seeing DFA 1979 after all. I am disappointed that flux and doctor p won't be there, specifically because Starscape somehow got them over for a single show. Mostly good and some bad will still make this an incredible weekend.

If DFA79 and the DFA tent were on the same day, I'd attend that, and hope some other goodness would come with it.

    Otherwise, no thanks.

Black Moth Super Rainbow will be fun given how druggy this festival seems to be. Hood Internet are always fun too. Is it just me or does this lineup get pretty "small" pretty quickly? Is this just the initial announcement or something?

Camp is definitely an amazing time! I'm so glad its almost up the road from me! im definitely going again. one of my favorite festivals

and no SDSoldier7 please dont come! haha. nah im just joking, please do come, i need to hang with ya again, and its the 10th anniversary! & Grannock we better meet up finally!
and thats only the initial lineup i think they said on their facebook over 100+ performances. so they are still going to announce some big names.
I think Shpongle, or at least Shpongletron (thatd be more likely) and just a hunch but i think sts9 possibly. but who knows. but they definitely have a few more announcements for us, and they just sold more tickets in the last 24 hours then they ever have since announced the lineup. all early bird tickets have sold out so.

From their facebook as of, 3/19/2011
"We just want to thank everyone one of you for the incredible support. This has been the most exciting few days of Bisco history and its still going. We have so much in store for you all. Camp Bisco 10 is going to be filled with surprises, you won't see the half of them until we are on site. With 100+ performances on 5 stages w/ two late night tents and a whole lot more!

Stay tuned for more info on our 10 year PARTY!"

    i cant wait!

yeah, they even describe it in the press release as "a first ever US live appearance." I guess that's 100% confirmation that it's not just sphongletron.
