Prince will be joined on the multi-city tour of the United States with Sheila E, Janelle Monae, Esperanza Spalding, Cassandra Wilson, Mint Condition, Maceo Parker and Larry Graham & Graham Central Station.

I don't know if there will be an official opener or if it will be just one big extravaganza.

We turned back into 12 year olds and sang duets in my smoky little garage!!! equipped with party lights and candles with purple music!!! ha ha ha We are going Wednesday and will be in the parking lot for preparty after 4pm. We should do a pre party meet up. We are in the 204 section (second tier pricing to cheap seats) Send a PM - Geno too, we can all dork out together!!! you can go pick up your tix today, apparently. i got an em from LiveNation (or Oracle Arena) that they have special hours through the weekend to pick them up. although, since today is a holiday, you might want to check first to make sure that applies to today as well.

We (sister and I) are planning on driving into the coliseum/arena parking lot (as opposed to taking BART from Pleasanton/Dublin area) What time do you all think Prince will take the stage? Doors are 6:30; show starts at 7:30. Now that we have an opener, I assume that said opener will start at 7:30, yeah? If it isn't raining, and you guys haven't driven in as well, we can tailgate/preparty (as is Oakland Col. tradition and modus operandi) at my car if you want. Let me know what you all think and we can sort it out.
