Hahaha. For real. I used to really like KOL, but then...it just went to hell. Jack Johnson was good, I thought. Maybe "he's not coachella" but it was a good set. Plus he brought out Mason Jennings!

Kanye deserved to headline. Whether you like him or not doesn't matter, he is one of the biggest musicians in the world today.

The Chemical Brothers didn't headline... they closed the main stage, but KOL headlined that night.

I saw Jack Johnson's first Coachella performance in 2002 and left half way through and caught bits of it the next year. It was equally boring. How in the hell he headlined is beyond me.

My guess was there was something contractual there, like if JJ was booked, the condition was that he had to headline. That's speculation on my part, though.

HA. I remember in '08 hanging out in the Sahara, met these 2 cute girls & were chatting away. Fatboy came on & we danced for 20 mins or so, having a blast. Then the said they were leaving to go see Jack Johnson & wanted to know if I'd care to join them. I just smiled & said "Have fun with that" & kept on dancing. They stuck around instead. Made my night

While I love The Black Keys, them as a headliner this year is a reach. But I guess GV had to do something fast after Black Sabbath cancelled on them, but after seeing Bonnaroo's lineup, they couldn't reach out to The Beach Boys?
