i'd love to see a moby set with a full band. wish he would do more than just dj sets when he comes to my area.

Moby is fantastic with a live band. One of the best shows I've ever seen was him in a club when he toured for 'Play'. He was running all over the stage, playing guitar, drums, etc. They covered Bad Company's 'Feel Like Makin' Love' and ended the whole show with 'Thousand' with Moby standing a keyboard, arms raised up.
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.

Please Moby, you need to come back to the Polo Fields.![]()
Yeah, it was pretty awesome. Super stripped down, soulful versions of everything they played. A friend has been recording vocals with him for the next album and did her first "proper" live show with him last night. Moby on acoustic guitar, a cellist, and two female vocalists - Inyang Bassey and Mindy Jones. They played a great mix of covers and classic Moby tracks. He was perfectly charming and self-effacing for such a mega-star. Talked about how it only took him 3 minutes to drive from his house to the venue. I think we'll be seeing more events like this from him around town. Hopefully, Coachella will bring the full stage production (I'll see what I can find out!)
Moby ended up going on at 10 instead of 11, and we left right after his set to find a huge line still waiting to get in. We wouldn't have made it either if we weren't on Daniel's list.
I wish it was live too, very disappointing.
hmm where did you see that rage?
