Sleigh Bells did back to back years and if there is one band coming back I could see these guys getting the chance, especially with how big they are (or more so, their one single) and the fact they had a short set in 2011.

I think they are big enough now to be a second headliner (like The Strokes billed after Kanye West)
The first four songs on their album are ridiculously catchy in a good way, the rest of the album is catchy but in an annoying way. I think there is a chance they come back next year, but by then everybody will have moved on and pretend like they never liked them in the first place.
Maybe I should have been clearer. I think they'll get nothing but bigger in the mainstream eye, and if they're at Coachella next year it will be at that point and all the music purists will conveniently forget they ever liked them in the first place. They are way too catchy and hook based to not blow up.
They are so boring live....
I thought they were surprisingly good live
Definitely not boring
Flash in the pan.

I thought Peter, Bjorn and John had finally made it to the mainstream radio, when I first heard this song. I don't listen to the radio much.
Haha, I went back through this thread (I'm late to the party) and saw that a few people thought the same.

As of right now, Torches is 14 on the Billboard 200.
Pumped Up Kicks is 3 on the hot 100 and 3 on the digital songs and 6 on Radio songs.
I can see them getting good placement at Coachella.

I just heard the second single, "Helena Beat", on the radio yesterday. Im sure they'll stay with radio play until April.
They should be brought back to Coachella soon, since their album was released after their appearance this year
I could are them on outdoor next year or Mojave. They've gained a lot of press since last year (and Torches is a damn catchy album). All the videos I've seen of them live are hit or miss so I'd be curious to see how their sound has grown over the year.
Downside: due to sudden fame, whatever stage they would end up on if they played would be a teenybopper clusterfuck (I.e Mumford and Phoenix)
5/15: THE WALL, Phoenix
5/19: Spiritualized, Crescent Ballroom
6/2: Mogwai, Music Box LA
6/19 Jesus and Mary Chain, House of Blues, VEGAS
I think at this point they are too big for Mojave
I think they will either be on the Main in the early evening or the Outdoor later in the night
LOL they're not returning. If they do, they're saturating themselves.
I'ma ball at the mall shuttin' down the sea wall
mumford and mgmt never cross over to mainstream pop like foster did. instead their crossover appeal is already to the extent of headliners kings of Leon, gorillaz, killers, coldplay and daft punk.
torches hasn't left spotify number one spot for months, pumped up kicks had hit number one on iTunes and gets heavy airplay on KIIS, amp radio, my FM, and I even heard it on kost b4 (I thought they only played love songs) and there was a remix version on power
I can't embed this one but - Kenny G joins FTP on SNL
