I'm 99% sure this is an awesome time. You may hate the music and can't relate to the people but everyone there looks so god damn happy to be there and it looks like there's always something to do. I'm only scared of the security issue.

It was either in this thread or on Twitter someone said two dudes tried to steal ICP shirts and they put them in a cage and threw rocks at them :\

Note to self: Should career fail, attempt to enter festival merchandise market with "I got stoned at the Gathering of the Juggalos" t-shirts.

E-40, Quik, Juve, Busta Rhymes, Cube, Xzibit, George Clinton, Mystikal...

This lineup is better than Coachella and I'm not even joking.

Maybe coachella will book all of them as a package and have GOTJ tent or Washed up rappers tent.

This is one of the worst groups for young folks to get caught up in... in my opinion. Way too much concentration on violence and drugs.

On that note.... the 10 Most Violent Juggalo attacks ever:

I love the new revelation about how they are actually Christians & all the murderous crime fascination is just entertainment. In years to come they'll probably establish the church of the Juggalo & seek tax write offs. Communion will consist of a puff off the blunt & a schwill off the 40oz.

That came from a bullshit story. They are not evangelical Christians and Shaggy 2 Dope doesn't even believe in god. They do like the idea of opening up a church though, they weren't aware of the tax incentives.

VJ: We don't go to church, I don't have a pastor or nothing like that, but I like to think I believe in God. But that's not what the song is about. ...

S2D: People now are [in dumb voice], "Are you guys, like, Christian rappers?" "No. Where the fuck did you get that from?"

The U.K. paper The Guardian claimed you guys were "evangelical Christians" after the "Miracles" video went viral.

VJ: That shit is crazy. [Laughs]

    S2D: Yeah, no. [Laughs]

VJ: I don't deny believing in God, you know what I'm sayin', but we don't have a master plan or nothing.

Well, you could claim you have a master plan, declare ICP a religion and stop paying taxes.

VJ: Church doesn't have to pay taxes?

    S2D: No.

VJ: [Excited] Wo-o-o-o-o-w. ... Maybe we should open a church! I didn't even know that.
I suggest reading this entire interview. It's actually quite good. The whole fucking thing. All 7 pages. Read it.

    http://www.laweekly.com/2011-03-17/m...ive-interview/

"According to most people we ain't the shit! We're scrubs. We are and always have been broke as fuck, and we know it. We ain't tough gangstas. We've been getting fucked off. Our whole lives we have been the scrubs, so we might as well rep that some way.

"Let's rap about the shit that makes us wanna become serial killers, just to let it all out. You know, let's dig deep inside and pull out the stupid shit that makes us who we are, and let's rap about it. Let's put our biggest fears and angers on tape. We're scrubby-ass killer clowns!

These fuckin idiots don't even know the difference between a hatchet & a meat cleaver. A hatchet is a little hand axe used for busting up logs & other camping related activities. That is a cleaver always has been always will be you dumb fuckin juggalos!

Well, it's not like many folks keep up the Juggalo lifestyle into their late 30s, early 40s... so yeah, get caught up in. Like people get caught up in sports, weed, video games, bathhouse sex...

I guess we'll see if it has staying power in a few decades, if there are 60 year old deathcore rappers.

I love the fact that the hatchet/cleaver moron is wearing a Valley Middle school t-shirt with his Juggalo hat.

oh, now you're making perfect sense....no. They make music and have a cult following. It's not something you get "caught up in". You might grow out of their music and shows like you would with any other band but they aren't video games or sports. lolz

It's going to take a few decades? They've already been around for over 20 years. Try again.

    It gets even better:
    http://puregrainaudio.com/news/12th-...ce-guest-hosts
"With Celebrity Hosts Charlie Sheen, Dustin Diamond, and Flavor Flav, Plus Additional Musical Performances from Bobby Brown, Paul Wall, and Lil John, Nothing but Pure Entertainment is Promised at this Year's Gathering!" The Insane Clown Posse announces Charlie Sheen, along with other celebrity hosts, plus additional musical performances and events at the duo's 12th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos, occurring in Cave-In-Rock, IL from August 11th – 14th.

Charlie Sheen, Dustin Diamond, Flavor Flav and one mystery guest have been booked to host separate nights of the main stage performances at the Gathering. These four hosts have the magnetic, "larger than life" personalities that are destined to captivate the attendees between the artists' sets. And just added to perform are Paul Wall, Lil Jon and Bobby Brown.

This year's Gathering boasts a line-up of talented musicians, intriguing hosts, comedians and wrestlers, which are provided in lists below. And to hold true to the Juggalo Gathering's promise of 24 hour action for four days straight, numerous outrageous events and activities have been planned including: JCW matches, Ms. Juggalette contest, carnival rides, Violent J's Prince vs. Michael Jackson BBQ, Faygo Wet T-Shirt contest, midway games, 3 Way DJ Battle between Shaggy 2 Dope/Mike E. Clark/DJ Clay, autograph signings, karaoke, seminars, Lovetrain, free style contest, Hogdaddy's Hellfire, WFuckOff Radio live, sideshows, ABK's Wake and Bake BYO Breakfast Bash and many more
    Dustin Fucking Diamond.

Shit, you were serious about Charlie Sheen, Boourns??

And for real, is anyone more done than Ice Cube? That guy has a giant pitchfork sticking out of his back. Are We There Yet the TV show, the Coors Light commercials, and now this??

I will say, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Honky Tonk Man are huge scores for the festival.

I know everyone has different tastes in music and it's all subjective, but I can't imagine what anyone could see in this culture.

It's like you took the biggest drug-addict ravers you could find and crossed them with Alice Cooper's fanbase.
    fuck.
