Now I own my home, have money to blow, and don't bother with that. Just wondering at what point someone stops or starts their collecting fanaticism. We're on a message board geared towards music, I'm sure there are people here who collect them. I see your point but nothing wrong with it either if they want to collect the merch of artists they hold dear to. Then again there are hardcore Daft Punk aficianados who collect literally everything DP related esp on the daftclub forums haha

That's what this thread made me think of. I couldn't buy a great shirt, and not wear it unless it were just ridiculous. That's just me. If you're going to have a thread on this, there had better be a lot of photos. No one wants to read about a t-shirt collection if they have to imagine the image. At that point, why not start making your own god damn music t shirts? Pics or /thread. Now.

All I have is a Coa Che 11a shirt. The only reason I have that is because I wanted to put a different shirt on without going all the way back to the tent ; ) I wear it year around, and have been spotted by festies lol

I definitely don't get a shirt at every show. Lately I've gotten even more selective and will only buy a shirt if it's unique to the tour, I will actually wear the shirt and I haven't already blown my cash on drinks. Anything I suspect I can find online later is definitely a no-go at shows.

I haven't ever counted my music-related shirts, but I suspect I've got about 100 or so. I took a photo of some of the older ones for a thread a while back.

What is it? I just found my first concert shirt the other day. There's no way it's nearly as old as yours: A System Of A Down shirt from the first leg of the Toxicity tour. Got a Pearl Jam one not much later that I found as well. I'm trying to gather things up for a photo.

Thanks dude! It was from their show at the Palladium Ballroom here in Dallas back in October. My friend got Bernard to sign my shirt and I am forever grateful for that since I met her that night and took a bold risk in giving her my shirt in spite of the risk involved haha

It never occurred to me to take photos of my concert shirts. Maybe sometime soon I'll dig them out of the closet and do this. i have at least 50 band/concert shirts at this point, and I probably sold about 50 on ebay a few years back to make room. I bought a lot of shirts at punk and hardcore shows, it's pretty easy to do when they're only like $8-12
